Lately, we have been trying to use our horses more. Once a week or so we having been taking the kids up to ride them. They have really enjoyed this. They are all getting way confident with the horses (somethimes a little to confident). One night we got to take our neighbor friends, Ellie and Zoe. Zoe was not impressed, but had a great time playing with Ike. Ellie, on the other hand, loved it and had a million questions for Adam about the horses. It was a lot of fun. Thanks Adam!
Cal loves to ride the horses. He cries when he doesn't get to go first. He sits on the horse and waves his little arm off. I love it. It is darling. He gets so excited and happy. He isn't the least bit afraid. He's getting so big!
Adam has been working with Jane and Ike on leading the horse themselves. They both are doing really well at it. Here Jane is showing off her stuff.
Ellie was a little nervous at first about falling off and wanted to know if the horse would be running at all. It was so cute. She loved it and wanted to do it lots of times. It was great.

Cowboy Ike. He had to wear the entire outfit. His boots, hat, pants, and what he calls a cowboy shirt for now, a t-shirt. Jane got to walk Ike around and Ike wanted to to it all by himself.

I know my girls loved and appreciated when we were lucky enough to ride the horses a few Sundays ago. I could not believe how calm and cool Cal was. He had a perma-grin the entire time. It was really cute.
