And then there were 4......

Announcing that we are going to be having baby! We are so excited and happy. We just told the kids and they have been so excited and have been telling everyone! I am due January 15th! The kids are hoping for a girl, but I'll take anything as long as it's a healthy baby! So far so good on the pregnancy, lucky me I haven't been sick or anything, just really tired. I am hoping everything stays good and we'll keep you posted! YAY for us! Baby number 4!

Meet Pearl "Black Pearl"

Meet our new puppy, Pearl. The kids have been really wanting a dog so bad. I'm not a huge animal lover, but I sure have turned in to one. This puppy will melt your heart. She is so adorable and has been so much fun. The kids all adore her and she is spoiled rotten. We have had so much fun with her. We found her off ksl.com and fell in love when we went to see her. She is a boarder collie and 6 weeks old. She loves the kids and has been really pretty good so far.
Jane and Cal LOVE her. Ike likes her, but isn't as in to her as much as the other two. He did get to name her though. They decided on "Black Pearl" from Pirates of the Caribbean.

Cal get a turn to hold her for the ride home.

The first two nights we did keep her inside, but after the second night of her crying all night we had to put her outside. She actually does really well. It took about two nights and now she doesn't make a peep. All these pictures are inside, but she really is an outside dog and we love her. She just hangs out in our yard all day. She hasn't run off yet! We'll have to see as she gets bigger. So far so good!

Cal and Pearl have a love hate relationship. She loves to nib Cal pretty good and grab his shirt and clothes and pull him around, but Cal is pretty good about taking it. It is so stinkin' cute. She loves to play with Cal.

Adam was watching tv on the couch and this is how Pearl slept beside him. So dang funny.

The one picture of Ike and Pearl. You'll all have to come see her to see how cute she really is! I'm so glad we got her. The kids have had so much fun with her and so have I.

Puppet House

Isn't this darling?! I love having such fun awesome neighbors. The lady up the street gave this to my kids and they have been having so much fun in it. The are waiting for they day to sell lemonade. Thanks so much!

They have put on puppet shows and played house and everything. It has been great. So fun!

A Day with Sawyer!

I get to watch my nephew, Sawyer, once in awhile and we just love him. We have so much fun. He has the wildest hair do so we decided to put him in the tub with the kids in the morning to see if we could get the knots out. It worked and he loved splashing with the kids. Jane was so cute holding him and so worried about him.

We don't do to much but hang out. Here we are watching movies. He loved CARS!

Ike just adores Sawyer and is always touching him or by him. Here they are relaxing on the couch and Ike was patting his chest.

Next thing we know, Sawyer is asleep! Ike was so proud of himself!

Of course, Cal had to lay by him next. We love you Sawyer and can't wait until next time!

Craft Day

For the summer I signed Jane up for a once a week craft at the Robert's Craft Store. She has loved it. We had to buy the kit for Ike for this fun one. They made pirate treasure chests and it was quite a hit. It has been so fun for her. She is such a little crafter and I'm so glad that she is loving it and it's been another fun summer activity.

jane....Mom, i just lost my mind and went to wash my hands in the bathroom and sat on the toliet
me...oh. jane (laughing)
jane...then i lost it again and flushed the toliet
me... just laughed

ike....Mom i'd really like to lay by you. You smell like Sawyer (my nephew). He comes up and lays down by me, never mind you don't smell like him, but I'll stay anyway

Aunt Katie....Jane if you could wish on a star what would you wish for?
Jane.... (without hesitation) a dog
