Happy Halloween

Halloween was so much fun this year!  Waylon was loving it, finally!  Last year he wouldn't put his costume on, this year he was more than excited to be BATMAN!

 Ike was a baseball player!

Jane wanted to be Jack Sparrow!  Her teacher was Jack Sparrow too, she was a much much cuter Jack Sparrow!

Our Knight!  Cal is all about the weapons for his costume.  I think he picks his costume around which weapon he can get to go with it.

We went down to Katie's house to trick or treat with them.  They have the best neighborhood to go to!  The kids love being able to go with their cousins!
Happy Halloween!

Cal gets his cast off

After 8 long weeks Calin finally got his cast off today.  Good bye blue, itchy, stinky cast!
He was so happy and excited to get it off!

Cal is such a great brother to Waylon.  Waylon was just as happy to see Calin get his cast off!

Pumpkin Carving Fun

We have started this fun tradition of carving pumpkins with Great Grandpa Ike and Carol down at their cabin.  The kids have so much fun and love helping Grandpa and Grandma rake the leaves and mow lawn.  After yard work we get down to business of carving our pumpkins!

 Jane's creation!

We love that the DeSpain bunch came along too!

 Ike's pumpkin!

 Calin had a pumpkin too!

 Uncle Zac

 Joe and Brooklyn

Waylon just colored on his pumpkin.  It had already been chewed on by the dog and was a little mushy!  Best to just color it!

These two are the best of buddies.  They love to play together!

Girls Night of Thriller

Jane and I had a night out with my mom and sister's.  We met at City Creek for a little shopping and dinner and then headed to watch Thriller!

My cute nieces, Natalee, Haylee, Ashlee, and Jane and a very believable Zombie.  She followed the girls around at the beginning of the show.  Jane and Haylee were so freaked out and scared.  They thought that she was for sure going jump out at them during the performance.  It was lots of fun and lots of laughs!

Brittany, Me, Shunae, and Bonnie!  My cute mom was there too, but she was off parking the car in a no parking zone!  I thought she was for sure going to be ticketed or towed after the show!  She is so funny!  Lots of laughs with her around!

It was fun to go shopping with this little doll.  She has her own style and it was fun to see what she picked out!

Dino Museum

While off track we took advantage of our Thanksgiving Point Pass and headed to the dinosaur museum.  It was so fun and so not crowded.  The kids had a blast!

The kids had so much fun and pretty much had the place to themselves!

Waylon's Elephant

Waylon made this cute pink elephant at preschool today.  He is such a funny kid.  I really do think he like preschool, but he cries every single day I drop him off.  He cries and yells that he is going to throw up.  I'm that mom that is running out of the school with him chasing me screaming and the teachers grabbing him.  The teachers told me that he only cries for a few minutes and then is so great the entire time.  When I pick him up every time he is all smiles and says he just loves preschool and won't cry next time.  He says, "I only cry for just a minute." He is the most attached child that I have had.  I guess he must be the baby of the family!

Elk Hunt 2014

Jane and Ike got to go on their first hunt with dad.
They were so excited.  They got to go Elk Hunting in Colorado with
dad and grandpa.

Jane getting her saddle all ready for the hunt!

 Look at those smiles!

Jane, Grandpa O, and Ike ready to hunt

Setting up for the day of spotting for elk.

 Ike and Grandpa O
Dad showed Jane the art of getting a nap in while hunting!  She was cold so dad gave her his jacket to use on her feet!

 Ike could sleep anywhere!

Ike rode Linda and both did great!

Jane rode DeeDee!  She said she fell off of her on the first day, but got right back on!
Atta girl!!!

Adam rode his horse, Ms. Swan!  He hasn't ever taken her before and she did so great.

Ike ate like a horse the entire trip.  He had his lunch eaten by about ten each day!  He told me,
Mom, I hate going with out a good breakfast!  I was starving in the mornings."

 Big Hunters!

 Chillin' in the hammock!

 Grandpa and Ike

Ike taking a nap with his backpack shading his eyes!

Carving their names in the tree!

Looking for Elk in the beautiful mountains!

 Grandpa O got his elk!

Grandpa O cracked his hard boiled eggs on the kids heads the entire time!

Ike got right in there for the dirty work!

 Grandpa O, bella, and Adam

Ike made hotdogs for dinner and was super proud of himself!

Adam got his elk and the troops headed down to get him.

I'm really proud of Jane, she led Belle, while riding her horse!
Way to go girly!

 Adam's Elk!

So proud of my hunters!  This year was a success!

 Beautiful Jane!

 Handsome Ike!

First hunt was a success!  They both said that they loved it and wanted to go again sometime!

They were up early everyday and hiking and hunting until dark!  The kids were so tired.  Ike fell asleep on the cook house table!  Drooling!

We just love the Muddy!  Glad the kids got this chance to go and make memories with their dad and grandpa!
