Training Wheels?

Jane just decided that she wanted to learn to ride her bike without training wheels. Our neighbor friend, Ellie, was learning how and Jane thought she wanted to try as well. Adam took off her wheels and told her to practice balancing on her bike on the grass. She was outside for awhile just balancing and then Adam helped her and I helped her and she was off. I am amazed. She just got it and could do awesome. The next day we went and got her bike helmet and she was outside all day long practicing. Needless to say, her and Ellie have taken control of the street and ride up and down all day long! They c0me in for breaks red faced and tired. It has been so much fun and I am so proud of her! Ike wanted to ride to and was so cute trying to keep up on his little trike. He can actually peddle it really well and does a good job!

She is a pro!

She even figured out by the end of the night how to start on her own! She is really doing it all be herself!

Look at her go!

I am so proud of her!

Camping with The Hunter's

We got to go up to Fairview camping with The Hunter family. We had so much fun. The pictures don't really show all the fun we had, but we were so busy having fun, I didn't get a chance to take to many. We went down late Friday night and came home late Sunday night. We had such fun. We went swimming, they had such a fun a fun tree swing, we had camp fires, good food, good company, four-wheeler rides and so much fun. Chet's parents were there as well, with Siona another granddaughter. It was so cute because Ike kept calling Don, grandpa! We hope to go again soon! Thanks Hunter Family!

The Gardens

We went to Thanksgiving Point with our friends, Myken, Ellie, and Zoe to play at the gardens. I've never been before and it was a lot of fun. The kids had fun playing in the water and exploring the caves and stuff. The flowers were beautiful and it was a great day to go, because it was so hot! We will have to do that again!

Bridger Lake

We spent the 4th of July camping up at Bridger Lake in the Uinta Mountains. We went with Grandpa & Grandma Shelton, Bonnie, Aaron, the Rudy Girls, Tom & Marilyn Rudy, Amy, Hannah (Aaron's sister & niece), Spencer, Brittany, Travis, Shunae, and our little family. We had a wonderful time. We played down at the lake with a canoe Aaron had, we rode 4-wheelers, enjoyed campfires and had great food. The only bad thing was the mosquitoes. We were applying spray constantly, but Ike's little face got quite a few and Jane's arms got some. Adam & Cal didn't get any and I only got a few. We had so much fun, but didn't take to many pictures. Here are a few cute ones that we took.

Raccoons in the Chimney

We had a family of raccoons in our chimney this last week. My mom came to stay with me for the week and she was up all night with the chattering and loud noises with the Raccoons. My sister and her family came to stay the next night and so we had to get them out. Nothing seemed to be working. It was quite the event in getting them out. Let's just say the mom and 5 babies are finally out and we have put something over the chimney so we won't have this problem again. I couldn't get any good pictures of the raccoons inside the chimney, but here are a few of Adam trying everything to get them out. We tried firecrackers to scare her out, loud noises, strong smells, poking, and prodding. But we got them out and that is all that matters!

Slide Show Issues

I am having major problems with my blog. I tried to change my background and it screwed everything up. I can't get a slideshow to work. I deleted the last one somehow and the comments and now you have to click on view all images to get to see the slideshow. If any of you know how to get it to work let me know. Sorry and thanks.

The Muddy Trip

Jane's Accident

On Sunday night we went up to Grandpa and Grandma O's for dinner. Aunt Amy and Jane wanted to ride horses. Most of our horses are at The Muddy, but we are trying to sell one horse, Willie, who is an awesome horse, but we just don't use him. Adam saddled Willie and put Jane on him to ride around the round corral, Adam was leading her for long time and she wanted to do it herself. She was doing so well and Willie was doing good, but would just stop and then she would kick him and he would walk for a few seconds again and then stop. He was being so lazy. Then all of the sudden he went wild. He crow hopped a little and bucked and off Jane went. Adam almost caught her, but she went to the ground. It was really scary. She was crying really hard, but wasn't at all hurt. Amazingly. She does have pretty bad road rash on her one arm, but other then that she is fine. She went out after she was bandaged up and told Willie it was okay, just an accident. She said she doesn't want Willie as her horse anymore, she have a different one, and everyone needs to be nice to her because she got hurt, just like Kendyl, her friend that was hit by the car. She was milkin' it a bit much, but we are grateful that she is alright. She wouldn't let me take any pictures of her, so I don't have any to post, but wanted to remember this!
