Nice Chompers!

Today was an adventure for us. I took 3 kids to the dentist today. They actually just looked at Jane and Ike, but that was enough. Jane has been a little nervous about the entire situation, but really did great. She was so cute and hopped up to get x-rays, a cleaning, and was super good when the dentist looked inside. Ike on the other hand, not so good. He didn't want the x-ray's so we didn't push that or the cleaning. The dentist did have me hold him down and he did an exam. The results are.....no cavities and they are both doing great. Keep it up! They were so excited to get a bag full of surprises. Ike loves the toothbrush and has brushed his teeth 3 times already today!

Handsome Wyatt!

I couldn't resist! This is my darling nephew, Wyatt! He had his first photo shoot and they are adorable. Check out the eyelashes! Boys always get the good lashes!

He is such a tiny thing!

I think he is going to be a hunter!

We love you Wyatt!

Leathershop with Great Grandpa Ike

Last Saturday we got to spend some time with Granpa Ike and Grandma Carol. Grandpa let Ike and Jane do some leather stamping, which Jane loved. Grandma Carol played a fun game of boobytrap with the kids. We had pizza and ice cream cones, which Calin loved. We had a fun time and need to do that more often. Thanks grandpa and grandma, fun time had by all!

Albertson's Fieldtrip

Jane had a preschool fieldtrip to Albertson's grocery store. I got to go along with her, thanks to Myken for keeping the boys. We had such a fun time and it was really fun to see her interact with her friends at school. I was so sad I forgot my camera, but she has this one little friend, Trevor, and they are quite attached. They were inseparable and holding hands the entire time. It was really cute. We got to see a cake being decorated, lots of different types of meat, and the pharmacy. They got a bag of goodies at the end. They have been learning in preschool about being healthy and what is healthy to eat.

My little cowboy (and girl)!

(Adam, Jane, our horse Linda)
Jane and Ike really wanted to ride horses, so Adam took them up and led them around for an hour or so. What a dad. At least it was a pretty nice day! Thanks for taking the pictures Amy!

Ike got this gun game for his birthday last year and loves when we break it out to play. He had to have all the cowboy attire on, you can't really see, but he does of a pink belt on and had the boots on for most of the day, with the sweatsuit. He is quite the kid!

(Adam, Ike, and Linda)
When Ike got home he told me that he had lots of fun and held on tight with both hands, most of the time.

Love my cowboys!
(Adam will die when he knows I blog that. He doesn't consider himself a cowboy, but I like to think he is, rough and rugged.) haha

Sledding Fun!

We had so much fun sledding down the hill by our house. Adam took the kids a couple of times and I wanted to go check out the kids in action. I usually have to stay home with Cal, but this time I braved it and took him out. He loved it and the kids only last about 3o minutes max so it was great for me as well (i hate the cold).

There were so many kids there I was nervous the entire time that we would have a head-on with someone. We did the small hill quite a few times then braved the big one. Jane is our little daredevil. I didn't dare let Ike go alone on the big hill, so I went with him. Adam couldn't get pictures while holding Cal.

Look at Ike go!

We let Cal in on the fun. Jane was so good to hold on him. He loved it and had the biggest smile the entire time.

My darlings!

Here we go!

Adorable Baby Girl!

I just had to post these amazing pictures of Jada. She is the cutest thing and it was so fun to have her around during Christmas. It was so sad to see them go back to California. They will be missed and I can't wait to see them again. Before they left they got her pictures taken from this incredible photographer, Mari, Shunae's friend. She did awesome. Here is her blog to see more, AMAZING.

Wyatt Keith Shelton

I now have a new nephew! Spencer and Brittany had their baby boy on December 29th! He is a tiny little thing and doing great. Adam and I got to go see him on New Year Eve and he is darling. I couldn't get over all the dark hair and long eyelashes, why do boys get those. He is adorable and mom and dad seem so happy and are doing great. I love all these new babies in the family, but it kinda makes me sad that Cal is no longer the baby. Time for another one?! (hahaha)

Christmas 2008

Merry Christmas! I guess this will have to be my Christmas card since we didn't get a family picture taken and I didn't send out cards! We went to the Olson's Christmas Eve and then out to Lyman Christmas Day! Merry Christmas to all!
Santa came and brought us a kitchen. What fun it has been. Ike absolutely loves it and plays all day everyday. He gets up in the morning and that is the first thing he wants to do. Play in the kitchen. Great job Santa!

Santa asked the kids to help put together the kitchen. Jane was so excited and was helping Adam every step of the way. Cal was just excited to be there!

Ike got a firetruck!

Jane got her walkie-talkies and was wondering why the elves didn't leave these in pieces for her to put together. She was so excited in the morning to find that Santa had really eaten her cookies she had made for him!

We finally got the tree up just before Christmas. It is a little sparse in places, but it will do!

The perfect tree!

I was surprised to find that the tree still had some needles on it when we got home from Wyoming! I really can't believe we strapped it to the top of the van. Jane was a little concerned about this and a little embarrassed for us!

Fun in the Sun!

We had such a great time in Hawaii. It rained almost everyday while we were there, which was a big bummer, because I wanted to just lay out and catch the rays, but we had fun. We ate lots of good food, I learned to play a tough game of poker with the boys, I read a lot of books, and we hung out at the beach and pool whenever we could. Adam even got in a few games of golf. By the end of the 11 days though, I was missing my kids. We had fun while it lasted though and it was so much fun being with Adam. It made me realize again how much a I love him and appreciate him and how much fun we have together. What a vacation. I hope we can do it again someday! Thanks to the Olson's for a great time and to my family for taking such great care of the kids.

In Oahu, Joe took us to this barber shop that gave the best haircuts and beard trims. It was a lot of fun and quite the experience!

We ate really good food at some really fun places! Adam and I aren't sure we are too in to that, by the end of the trip I was good to come home and cook. But might as well live it up while vacationing!!!

One of the sunny days!

This was suppose to be a beautiful waterfall in Kauai, but because of all the rainfall it was a Mucky Muddy brown! Still a great picture of of though!

I love the beach and just relaxing and hanging out. The beaches at the resort we these coves and it was unbelievable. SO MUCH FUN!

Going in for a swim!

One day we went to Northshore for some boogie boarding. I didn't get very many pictures, but it was a blast. Adam was so in to it and we all had a great time. I had so much sand in my bathing suit and wiped out pretty hard most of the time!

Catching some sun!
