ScHoOls OuT 4 SuMmEr!

I can't believe she is going to be a 1st grader! She did so well in kindergarten and I am so proud of her. She is doing well at learning to read and write and really enjoyed school. I am excited for her to start 1st grade in the fall with Mrs. Dejaney and be at school all day!

She had a dance festival the last week of school. The kindergarten danced to "You've Got a Friend in Me" from Toy Story. It was so cute. She did such a great job. What a fun thing they do! All the grades did a dance and it was so fun to watch all the kids.

Ike's Preschool Graduation 2010

Ike has really enjoyed preschool this year. He really liked Ms. Liza and did really good at his preschool graduation. We are so proud of him and all he has learned.

Vacation Fun

Let the fun begin!

Beware: there are a lot of pictures of this. I did it in four parts actually and tried to break it up a little. We got to spend a week in Newport Beach California with Adam's family. His dad and brothers weren't able to come, but we got to spend a lot of fun time with Katie and her family and Amy and her family. We had the time of our lives. I am so sad that I didn't get more pictures, but thanks to Katie I did get some really good ones. We were even able to spend a day with Travis, Shunae, and Jada, but I don't have one picture with them, but we did have a lot of fun visiting with them and seeing how much little Jada has grown. We love you guys! Thanks so much to the Olson bunch for the very very fun time. None of us were ready to come home. Thanks Grandma O! We love you all! Enjoy the posts!

The Beach (Newport part 4)

We had a lot of fun at the beach. The weather was good and the kids really enjoyed diggin in the sand with dad. We spent all day in the sun and had so much fun.

We went exploring and found these really cool tide pools with tons of starfish and crabs in them. It was really cool.

Chad and Katie were so much fun. We hadn't really been on too many vacations with them, but man were they fun. We all got along so well and had such a fun time together. Thanks you guys!

Adam and Aaron are the only ones that braved the water. I couldn't believe they wanted to get in. It was way to cold for me. Way to go guys!

IKE TURNS 4!! (Newport Part 3)

I can't believe this little guy is 4 years old. He celebrated his birthday in Newport, so it was like he had a week long birthday because everything we did he thought was for his birthday. It was so much fun. He is such a sweet boy. Ike is always happy. He has such a tender heart and such a good brother. He is really a sweetheart and melts my heart. I love this boy! As you can see he really loves pirates! Aaaargh Matey!

Disneyland (Newport Beach Part 2)

We decided to head to Disneyland for a day. The kids had so much fun. Thanks to Katie I got a few pictures of the fun we had.

Adam, Ike, Grandma O, Jane, Chloe, and Chad on Splash Mountain. They went a couple times. It was so fun! There weren't too many people there and not many lines this time. We had fun.

The kids have been saving their allowance up so they could buy something at Disneyland. Ike bought himself a new sword and telescope, Cal got a new sword, and Jane spent all her money on this wonderful Jack Sparrow hat :) It was so funny, because when it was time to go she said she forgot to get Ike a birthday present, but didn't have any more money to buy him one.

NewPort Beach California 2010 (part 1)

We got to spend a week in Newport Beach California this month. We had the time of our lives. Thanks to Grandma O for the great accommodations! We spent hours at the pool. Ike celebrated his 4th birthday while we were there and got this awesome pirate ship that they spent most days on! It was a hit!

I'm so glad that I spent the money on swim lessons. I didn't have to worry about the kids and they all really enjoyed themselves in the pool. They weren't quite use to the cooler water, but still had such a fun time. This is Adam chucking Jane in the pool! She wasn't sure if she liked it at first, but soon by the end learned to love it :)
