Preschool Open House

Jane is going to Preschool. I can't believe it. She is pretty excited, but nervous at the same time. We went to the open house and she wanted to make sure I was right there. I told her that next week she is on her own. We will see how that goes.

Our big girl is going to preschool. We are so excited. She went to preschool open house today to check it out and meet some friends. There are 11 kids in her class, 3 girls and 8 boys. She is going to have lots of boyfriends. She was really shy and timid, but thinks that it will be fun. She starts Wednesday Sept. 3. She will go 3 days a week, MWTH. It is called Sunny Daze Preschool in Pleasant Grove, close to our house. It is from 12:30-3pm. She is going to be learning lots so she will be ready for kindergarten next year.

(Jane was being so shy, hopefully after the first few days she will get over the shyness.)

The Classroom. It is a darling preschool that is set up in her backyard like a little school house. It has everything. It is so much fun. It is close to our house, which is even better.

STRIKE!!

We went bowling today. We tried to go to Thanksgiving Point to the gardens, but it was so windy and so many people. Everyone is taking advantage of the $2 Tuesday's. We decided to do something else and who doesn't like to bowl! The kids loved it and we had the bowling ally to ourselves. It was fun to do something with the Hunter's. Thanks for the invite. Let's do that again sometime!

Kendyl, Ike, and Jane ready to bowl!

Where are we now?

Here it goes!

I can do it myself!

Ready, Set, Bowl!

Jane was dancing around while her ball was rolling down the ally! She loved it and did it all by herself.

It's going to be a STRIKE!

Questions for Jane & Ike

My friend has this on her blog and I thought it was really cute and wanted to see what my kids had to say. They didn't really answer all the questions, but I did put on the questions I could get answers out of them for. Ike just said, because on every one. Too Cute!

1. What is something mom always says to you?
Jane: Go get the diapers for Calin & Ike.

2. What makes mom happy?
Jane: Making my bed with out being asked and getting dressed.

3. What makes mom sad?
Jane: for not obeying her

4. How does your mom make you laugh?
Jane: Tickling

5. What was your mom like as a child?
Jane: I don’t know, whose tummy was I in?

6. How old is your mom?
Jane: I don’t know, 36.

7. How tall is your mom?
Jane: As tall as a mom

8. What is her favorite thing to do?
Jane: go to the park with me.

9. What does your mom do when you are not around?
Jane: find me

10. What is your mom really good at?
Jane: I don’t know, cuddling me in the mornings.

11. What is your mom not so good at?
Jane: playing fuse beads, that’s not a very good one.

12. What does your mom do for her job?
Jane: Work at houses

13. What is your mom’s favorite food?
Jane: The Chocolate covered pretzels

14. If your mom were a cartoon character, who would she be?

Fun with the Girls!

While Adam went sheep hunting we had a girls week! My mom and sister and her girls came down and stayed at my house for the week. It was so much fun. We did glitter toes, swam, played, we had a baby shower for Shunae and so much family came. We had a fun fun time and made lots of memories. My mom was such a good help and Bonnie is amazing. We got a lot done and had many good laughs. It made the two weeks fly by! Thanks so much girls!

Jane all dressed up!

Jane and Ellie putting on a parade.

We went to aunt Louise's houses to hang out at her pool. It was warm and so much fun!
Cute Cal hangin' out with Grandma. Ike and Natalie were all over the place and I didn't get any good pictures of them, but they were there and had fun.

Jane was so brave. She got a little too brave and went under water for a few seconds and I had to pull out the old lifeguard skills and pull her out. She was fine, but a little scared, but got right back in.

Haylee wanted to wear the arm floats the entire time, even though she could swim and touch the bottom. It was so funny! Most of the time she was wearing two or three things to help her float. Just to make sure she didn't drown.

Ashlee is the biggest fish. She can dive in the pool and swims every where. I was amazed. Good job Ash!

Glitter toes! Kelsie, a friend, came to my house and gave all of us girls glitter toes. We all had different colors. It was fun.

Big Horn Sheep Hunt 2008

Adam went hunting for two week in the Yukon with his dad and two other friends. He had quite the experience and the time of his life. He really likes sheep hunting, which I don't know if that is a good thing or not. He shot his sheep on the last day with one shot! He'll have to tell you all about it!

The Zoo

We got to go to the zoo with grandma O, Amy, Katie, Chloe, & Sadie. We had a lot of fun. We saw lots of animals and got to see the bird show. It was a lot of fun. Very hot, but enjoyable. Thank heavens for Amy and Grandma O and all their help. Calin and Sadie were little troopers. They were so good and we all had fun!
