8th Year Anniversary

8 Happy Years!

I can't believe we have been married for 8 years! It seems like I've known Adam forever. We pretty much stink at celebrating our Anniversary, but thanks to my mom and dad, they took the kids for the weekend and Adam and I stayed home and got a ton of stuff done on our house. We bought our house 5 years ago and it has been a work in progress. When we moved in we remodeled the entire upstairs and the yard, but now we are going to do the exterior of the house. It has some crappy wood stuff on the outside with brick so we are preparing that to do stucco and stuff. It has been a lot of work, a lot more for Adam then me. I am so grateful I married a man that can work and knows what he is doing. Our friends had a casino night at there house on Saturday night that we went to. They hired a guy to deal 21 and they gave us all 200 chips when we walked in. We got to play and then at the end they had a drawing with prizes. We had fun, but I loss all my chips, along with Adam's, we didn't get a prize :( We played rock band and had a wii tennis tournament. We had a lot of fun!

boy... if you're not much at celebrating after only 8 years, you can imagine what it will be like after 35 years. i always say, it's just being together that is celebration enough, right? okay... your cookies were amazing and i need the recipe. welook forward to having your cute family down to fairview this year - anytime - and we mean it!

Happy 8th to you! And that party sounds really fun! Not so much the working at home, you guys seriously have some stinkin dedication, I think I would have just sat with no kids to chase around. Glad you had a good one.
