FHE at Cabela's

Grandpa and Grandma O took us to Cabelas for FHE the other night. The kids had a blast at the shooting range. Cal kept shooting the skunk and it would spray him in the face with water. It was so funny. He was lovin' it!

Spring Break in WYO!

For Spring Break the kids and I headed out to Wyoming to see Grandma and Grandpa Shelton and the Rudy's. We had so much fun! My mom, Bonnie, and I got the grand idea to make Strawberry Freezer Jam. I've never made it before and loved it and we ended up making 120 jars! It was so fun and it's yummy!

My kids of course love the Rudy Girls, as we call them. They were making up dances and video recording each other. It was so funny!

Ash and Jane strikin' a pose!

We headed up to see Great Grandma Shelton, who is such an amazing woman. She is almost 72 years old and she has her own greenhouse. She works so hard and we helped her one day. I was amazed at what she does every single day. I hope I am like that when I am her age. She is a great person and I've learned so much from her. The kids had the time of their lives. They wanted to stay all day long. It was fun helping plant the flowers and water and mix dirt. We all enjoyed it.

She mixes her own dirt. It's amazing that she is able to do it. I had know idea how much work she puts into her green house.

Look how beautiful it is already. I can't wait to get plants for my yard. Everything I get from her does so well in my flowerbeds.

Me and my sweet Grandma Shelton.

Cal was so funny! Here he is dressed up in high heels.

This is hours of entertainment at Grandma and Grandpas. I love this playhouse and want one at my house. It is the cutest thing. The kids love it and can play out in it for forever!

Easter 2010

We didn't do much for Easter this year since it was on Conference Weekend. I didn't even get them Easter outfits this year. I did make Jane a darling skirt, but have no pictures of it. But, of course, our great neighbors got chickens and bunnies and had to come show us. The kids loved them. Jane was so excited because Ellie said she could have one of the chickens and Ellie would keep it at her house and feed it and take care of it. It's worked out great! :)

Jane and the chicks!

Ike and the chicks and the sword.

Cute Ellie and the chicks.

The Easter Bunny did leave baskets. They were full of fun things for swimming!
Happy Easter 2010!

Do you think he should have WON?!

Adam had a mustache contest at work! He didn't win, but I think he should have, of course! I thought that when the contest was over he'd shave, but he still hasn't! I'm still in love with a man with a stache! What's next?!

We Love Sawyer!

I got to watch my nephew, Sawyer, for a couple of hours the other day and had so much much. My kids absolutely adore him. He is such a great baby and so darling. We can't wait to do it again!

My little cheese ball and the darling Sawyer!

Jane loves to hold Sawyer. She is so good at it and will do it for hours!

Ike loves to hold his hand. He says it helps Saywer not to cry!

Isn't that cute?!

Yo Ho Yo Ho A Pirates Life For Me!

My boys love being pirates! They both carry a sword around all day long. Cal is worse then Ike. They pretend to be Peter Pan, Captn' Hook, and of course, Jack Sparrow! It is hilarious. Cal loves to sword fight and gets the most aggressive face on. Ike has made his bed in to a pirate ship and every night has to make sure the anchors down so he doesn't sail away in the night. Every time we get some cardboard he thinks of an idea for his ship. It's been a lot of fun! I love my pirates!

Ike has been dying that his ship didn't have a plank, which he used to call a diving board off the ship. This was his invention. Also, the bed below is the little boat, Cal's bed, he wanted to somehow attach something to the top bunk that he could sit in and come down on. But we haven't figured that one out yet. Too Funny!

The anchor so he doesn't sail away! He can roll it up and down off his bunk bed.

The steering wheel. While singing "Yo Ho Yo Ho A Pirates Life For Me!"

Dad made him a pirate bed. We attached a hammock to his bed. That is what he sleep in every night.

Cal playing with the pirates. He loves them.

I do still need to tuck my pirate in at night, thank heavens!

Constantly has the bandana on and gets mad if you touch it!

Notice where the knife is! I love my pirates!
