So...I got a call from the school telling me that Calin fell off the monkey bars and broke his arm. I was so shocked and couldn't really believe it! I thought if the school thought is was broken then it had to be pretty bad. We rushed and got him from school and to the hospital. He had broke his arm, both bones in forearm. Poor guy! We had to go to Primary Children's to knock Cal out and set the bones. It was a long afternoon and night!
Calin was so funny coming out of the drugs. It was a little scary and sad at first. It made me cry. He had this weird stare going on and kept telling us, "Are you my mom? You have four eyes?" over and over again. It went on for like 30 minutes. Finally he was getting back to normal and eating a purple popcicle!
He got spoiled like crazy from all his family! He got lots of treats and visit. He was on cloud 9, thinking breaking your arm was cool!
Brooklyn, Cal, Uncle Joe, and Waylon
Grandma O and Aunt Katie came and brought fun treats!
Uncle Todd brought him a cap gun!
Uncle Zach brought a darling book and treats!
He spent a few days on the ipad playing games!
Then he got his green cast! 5 weeks in the baby! He is not going to be loving the broken arm for long!
